John Ganus

Mr. Ganus is beginning his 13th year at the Blount County Career Technical Center. He has a Level 3 Technical Certification and an Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design Technology. Before becoming an instructor, he worked in the home building industry with design, new construction, and remodeling. He is married to Melanie and they have two sons - Chase, a cheerleader at the University of Alabama, and Hunter who is married to Sydney. His hobbies include faith, family, and football. His favorite thing about teaching is watching students succeed in reaching their goals in school and life.
